Time to Boogie

We celebrated summer early Saturday evening with Rosé and Reggae at the Reininger Walla Walla winery off Highway 12. Getting loose with summer vibes included feasting on authentic island cuisine and the last of their 2020 Sangiovese Rosé. Lip smackingly light and right.  Local Tri-Cities reggae band, Naughty Pine, started us grooving as we munched on moist and spicy island grilled chicken from Polynesian Grill food truck. Went perfect with the shade, cool breeze and lovely company. Brad Korte, the tasting room manager was the most gracious of hosts. He was refilling waters, wine glasses and happy hearts, making sure no person, performer, baby or dog was in want of anything.

Next we kicked it up a notch and visited our favorite family friendly hangout called the Red Monkey. A punch and kick from their spicy mango margarita paired well with their King Kong balls and Dynamite Shrimp tacos. After running into friends, we all agreed to meet up at the next venue for some dance party action.

Inclusivo Production partnered up again with Eternal Wines/ Drink Washington State for another inclusive stellar party! DJ Bruja Mami layed down the grooves until midnight. Bruja Mami is an audio experience from Cia Cortinas. She blended sounds from all across Central and South America mixed with international beats and crowd favorites like Shakira, Santana, Khia and more. Her philosophy for the dance floor is “A safe and sacred place to fully express yourself while playing in the cosmos.” We came dressed ready for a fun festival vibe. Glow sticks around people’s necks, wrists, earlobes, sunglasses and even a dog’s collar. Everyone was down for the dance show, whether on two legs or four.

This venue in the Airport District was nice because they sell beer, cider and seltzer for those who aren’t too keen on wine. I was shy to hit the dance floor until the sun went down and the neon started shining. There was no way I was going to let all the youngin’s have all the fun so I eventually got my tush moving. In addition to the drinks and DJ, they had some fabulous food trucks. Carte Coffee, Smoking Bandits, and Fiasco Pizza joined us so everyone who came hungry left happy indeed!
