Saviah Cellars
Saviah Cellars, founded in 2000 in the Walla Walla Valley, is dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that combine expert viticulture with traditional winemaking methods. Their goal is to produce expressive wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the Walla Walla and Columbia Valleys’ soils and climate.
Under the guidance of winemaker Richard Funk and his wife Anita, Saviah Cellars has achieved recognition for their wines. With their family heritage deeply rooted in Montana, they pay homage to their roots through wines like Star Meadows White Wine, Une Vallée Red Wine, and Big Sky Cuvée. The renowned THE JACK line of wines, named after Anita’s great-grandfather, offers exceptional quality at an approachable price.
Since 2001, Saviah Cellars has established a remarkable estate vineyard program in partnership with the Brown family, who have a long history of farming in the Walla Walla Valley. Vineyards like Anna Marie, McClellan, Watermill, Funk Estate, and Dugger Creek contribute to the production of their esteemed wines, featuring varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and more, grown in the prized soils of “The Rocks District.”
Today, Saviah Cellars produces around 28,000 cases of wine each year, exemplifying their commitment to excellence and their passion for crafting wines that reflect the essence of their terroir.
